I have been trying to convince myself that I'm able to wear my regular clothes until I had a few less than polite comments from co-workers. It's amazing to me how inconsiderate people can be when they think they're being helpful. "You're only 15-weeks and already showing that much," then these women love to go on about their own pregnancies and expect for me to be enlightened by the whole conversation. Sunday morning I decided to start looking for a few new shirts. I'm not the kind of girl that invests a fortune in clothes, except maybe jeans, so I decided to go to Ross for a more affordable wardrobe change. I found 3 cute shirts and only spent $35 - thanks Doug! Then as if 3 weren’t enough, I decided to head over to the mall. I tried on about 10 shirts at Motherhood and only ended up with one. Overall, it was a great shopping experience and I felt more comfortable today at work. The best part about going to a maternity store was trying on the baby bump. The baby bump is about the size of a small sofa pillow and straps to your waist. The purpose is to make sure when you buy a shirt it will fit for the next 4 months. Most of the shirts looked cuter with the baby bump - one positive to getting fat, looking cute! I think it's time to get a prego picture up here. Give it a few days and I'll post one. =)
